Yesterday was September 11.

( a few thoughts on the matter )

I forgot to mention in my earlier post some of the awesome presents I got on my birthday not on the actual day itself. First of all, Meg drew me a picture. Which was really, really pretty. Then Camille got me some stuffed Totoros and a gift certificate from Kinokuniya. (And we laughed about how Kinokuniya was behind the times 'cause it was a paper certificate and not a card.) The people at work got me birthday balloons and I got cards from several relations. Okay, two relations and one of them was my mother. And Meg sent me a card too!!! The cool cards made it onto my wall o' cards.

Man, tons o' shit going down. My sympathies to everyone.
